Having been involved in Reserva Conchal real estate sales for the past 14 years, I can provide full transparency of what has sold, when and where. Reserva Conchal is a 2,300 acre property located an hour away from Liberia International Airport. The resort is within twenty minutes of Tamarindo, an exciting beach town known for its surf spots, restaurants and creative energy. Ten minutes to the North is the white sand beaches of Flamingo, home to the new marina in 2019. One of the best things about the location is its proximity to three international bilingual private schools, pre-K to high school. CRIA is right down the road, La Paz Community School is in nearby Flamingo and Educarte in Huacas.
Reserva Conchal is home to the Westin Hotel and the W Hotel under construction. Amazing amenities include a par 71 golf course designed by Robert Trent Jr, tennis courts and a magnificently designed beach club with pool, health center, bar/restaurant and a phenomenal spa. The rolling mountain terrain allows for challenging hiking, running and biking trails and flatter areas for easier walks or bike riding with the kids. The trails are abundant with wildlife; tropical birds, squirrels, howler monkeys, coatis, huge iguanas and white tail deer. The regional flora has two seasonal looks; arid forest during the dry season (December to April) to a mesmerizing lush green during the wet season (May to November).

An international mix with a demographic that has seen younger buyers for the past five years predominantly from the US followed by Canada with Costa Rica. Although the majority of owners use their property as a second or third home, the amount of families living within the community has grown noticeably in the past years. A number of them are long term renters, but many have decided to make Reserva Conchal their home. A variety of community activities are held weekly and monthly.
Services and Shopping
The beach town of Brasilito is two minutes away with a convenience store for most basics, or head a little farther down the road for larger supermarkets. In Tamarindo, Automercado is the market of choice for its high-end selection and imported food and alcohol.
The health services of Costa Rica are both excellent and affordable. The Resort has two quality clinics nearby fully equipped for emergencies along with routine visits. Reserva Conchal donated land nearby for a clinic affiliated with a private hospital in San Jose plus the resort has a helipad in case of severe emergencies.

There are lots, homes and condos available with prices ranging from the mid $200´s to above $1M. Within that range there are different options and sizes ranging from 800 sq Ft up to 5,000 sq ft.
